OpenText Navigator Fund

During the last half of 2020, we donated $1 million and worked with 65 food banks across four continents, 21 countries and 58 OpenText sites to supply more than four million meals.

Our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics outlines our expectations, and all employees, officers, directors, vendors, contractors and partners are expected to comply with them.

Environmental sustainability

Addressing climate change is a global challenge that is increasingly urgent, public and connected. As a tech industry leader, OpenText has both an obligation and an opportunity to take action that will improve the well-being of our customers, our planet and our society as a whole. Our Environmental Policy articulates our commitment to measuring and managing our environmental impact.

Energy management, data center initiatives, waste reduction and diversion, employee education and engagement are all key OpenText activities that support our environmental goals.

Ethical supply chain

Purchasing decisions can have a major social and environmental impact. We hold our suppliers to the same high standards to which we hold ourselves. In keeping with our Supplier Code of Conduct, we expect 100% of our suppliers to behave responsibly, ethically and sustainably.

We also help customers ensure their supply chains meet ethical practices with transparency into the sustainability practices of their partners/suppliers.

Our people

We are committed to an inclusive work environment.

Equity, Diversity and Inclusion is front and center with a focus on supporting and developing under-represented minorities, with emphasis on gender, race and Black communities.

We believe that achieving a more balanced proportion of men and women in our workforce reflects our fundamental belief that inclusion and diversity leads to increased innovation and better business outcomes. Today, women comprise 29% of the OpenText global workforce, 25% of management roles and 33% of our board of directors.

Information security and data privacy

OpenText maintains industry best practices for incorporating data protection and privacy into our day-to-day activities as defined by our ISO 27001:2013 global Information Security Management System.

We have implemented a range of technical and organizational measures to ensure the availability, integrity and confidentiality of data. All OpenText employees complete mandatory security awareness and privacy training upon joining the company and annually thereafter, or as required by law or to meet customer-required compliance obligations.
